The Heat Watch system was designed to take the guesswork
out of heat detection. Using an electronic device glued to the tail head
of the cow a signal is sent to a remote computer logging all the standing
mounts. Simple pressure from the weight of a cow or spotter bull mounting
the cow in heat depresses a button on the transmitter. This system is
extremely accurate and when combined with a skilled AI technician the
results can be truly outstanding. |
